Winter Donation Drive 2023
Today is #GivingTuesday and we are launching our new donation drive!
#givequeerjoy this Holiday season and consider donating to Tonic, to support our work with LGBT+ older people.
Tonic was established, back in 2014 and is funded by donations and charitable grants. Now the Tonic@Bankhouse community is thriving and we have 4 team members, we are looking to do even more to support older LGBT+ people in their later life.
Your donation will help us to provide even more events and activities for our Tonic@Bankhouse residents, to pay our team a Living Wage salary, to fund our running costs and to look at the future of Tonic and help us to grow.
We are encouraging people to #giveback to our LGBT+ elders and consider donating to Tonic.
We thank them for paving the way, for reaching our community milestones, for our rich histories and the safe spaces they have created.
Without our LGBT+ elders we would not have decriminalised homosexuality, repealed Section 28, Pride, marriage equality, the Equality Act, the Gender Recognition Act, trade union work place rights and many more!
As well as #giving the gift of empowering and fun later living.
Our team work hard together with our residents to set up frequent activities, tours and visits which are engaging, fun, LGBT+ affirming and educational for everyone 👩🏽🎨
#giving our LGBT+ elders a positive alternative to loneliness and isolation.
